I left my car on the road the other night, only to find in the morning as I get ready for work, that some absolute idiot came along and smashed my car window in in order to nick the stereo.
Not only did this person add another expense to my monthly outgoings, this whole escapade was made even worse by the fact that he didn’t even manage to take the stereo, instead only ripping off the fascia plate control thing, which is probably worth a fiver at most. It wouldn’t even buy him a spliff.
So that annoyed me very much so, however I was fortunate in the fact that he neither had the mental capacity or skill to check the various storage areas at the front of the car, which (stupidly) contained not only my wallet, but also my passport! Maybe I have Tony Blair to thank - if kids were properly educated they would know to at least have a gander around the glove compartment.
So, it was a bit of a wake up call really for me to be more careful with what stuff I leave in the car and what stuff I don’t. Take note kids.
