Tents, Terrabytes and Torture

It has been a long time since I’ve done a personal blog post about what is going on in my life.  It has been one of those times in my life where I’ve done so much yet remember so little.  As well as my usual diet of live music, I went to Jason’s wedding at Chante Marle near Yeovil.  It was a great day, and such a superb location - and an excellent band to finish the evening too :)

Then on the following Sunday I went to Silverstone with Sarah and Rich for some crazy car action.  Very nice to see the famous track and the Abbey corner, the pit-lanes, pit-girls etc… yummy. It was about 2 hours to get there, and 2 hours back - so it rounded off what was quite a manic few days for me, so I was glad to get some rest that evening.

Sophie and I went camping for Claire’s birthday, which was so cool.  The rain pretty much held off, and even when it did chuck it down - we all had such a good time.  There must have been about 20 of us there, and we had a little campfire going, lots of beer and wine and food, tonnes of marshmallows… alas, no sing songs round the fire - shame. Claire however managed to entertain us all with her guy-rope tripping antics!

Then recently I’ve clubbed together with Alex to form a new web-site called YourHostingFinder.com.  Based on the success of this blog, we’re creating a dedicated web hosting comparison site, which will be head and shoulders above the rest, and it will be something which we will turn into a machine - all via the power of affiliate marketing.  It’s very exciting, and although it’s a way to making a quick buck - myself and Alex are going to be dedicated in making this a useful content led site, as opposed to a lot of the crap that you find on the internet when typing in “compare web hosting”.

It’s the Wareham Festival this weekend, so I more than likely will be paying it a visit on the Saturday night, as there’s loads of live music and beer tents going on - just up my street.  I think it’ll be somewhat theraputic going there after the hideous day I had yesterday at Loco football training…

Trev is back… the mean machine of a marine - who cycles 3000 miles a day, can do press-ups on one hand for a week, and is the fittest thing since Jessica Alba.  We all went over the chain ferry to Studland Beach, where we spent two hours running up and down sand-dunes - incredible stuff.  It was such hard work, and the bloody hill was like the Travelator on Gladiators at times - I was half expecting a rope on other side of the hill which I could jump on to on my way to being interviewed by John Fashanu at the bottom…  Anyway, I worked so hard that I was sick… along with two others.

Incredibly arduous, but I kind of liked it!!
